About me
There is an unheard soundtrack that accompanies everyday life that lies just below the surface. It encapsulates our emotions, pushes us through dramatic events, and compliments our dreams. Very few of us are lucky enough to be able to hear it. My name is Daniel Mauck and I am a music producer and composer, and I can help you bring that soundtrack to life.
I have been driven by a passion for music from a young age. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Harpsichord Performance and a Master’s Degree in Music Education, before embarking on a career in education. I have been guiding young musicians in the New York City Public School System since 2002. The fulfillment I feel from helping young artists become who they are meant to be, is matched only by the joy I get from partnering with, and helping artists in the film and music industries create truly breathtaking work.
I have dedicated myself to composing for film and private media, and to providing production services for independent musicians and media producers. I have a wealth of experience in nearly every genre of music. I have composed and written rock, jazz, classical, hip-hop, and electronic songs and scores.
My services are based on relationships. I take the time to truly get to know the artist I am working with so that I completely understand what they are trying to create. I want them to trust that I will care for their project as much as they do. I have an outstanding, state-of-the-art home studio as well as a diverse network of industry contacts that I can call upon for studio time or collaboration if needed.
I feel that I can provide a service that few can. I keep my price-point below market value so that I can reach a wider market of artists and I am excited to work with you.
